About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and student-focused Educational Counsellor who can guide students and working professionals in selecting the right career-oriented courses and training programs. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills with the ability to convert enquiries into admissions through proper career guidance and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counselling & Guidance
Counsel students and professionals regarding available courses, certifications, career opportunities, and learning paths.
Understand student backgrounds, career goals, and skill gaps to recommend suitable programs.
Provide accurate information about course structure, fees, duration, placements, and certifications.
Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions through calls, video meetings, walk-ins, and webinars.
Build trust and maintain long-term relationships with students and parents.
Admission & Lead Conversion
Handle inbound and outbound student enquiries efficiently.
Follow up with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, SMS, and emails.
Convert leads into successful admissions by effective counselling and relationship management.
Maintain daily lead tracking and admission reports in CRM/software.
Achieve monthly admission and counselling targets.
Coordination & Student Support
Coordinate with academic, placement, and operations teams for smooth onboarding.
Assist students with enrollment, documentation, fee collection, and batch scheduling.
Resolve student queries and provide continuous support during the admission process.
Ensure high student satisfaction and positive learning experience.
Marketing & Outreach Support
Support seminars, workshops, webinars, and career guidance events.
Participate in educational fairs and promotional activities.
Generate referrals through existing students and networking.
Required Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong counselling and convincing abilities.
Good listening and problem-solving skills.
Positive attitude with student-centric approach.
Ability to handle pressure and achieve targets.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM tools.
Strong follow-up and relationship management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline.
MBA/Marketing background is an added advantage.
Experience in EdTech, Training Institute, Coaching Center, or Education Industry preferred.
Freshers with strong communication and presentation skills may also apply.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
