Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and applicable customer-specific requirements.
Prepare, review, control and update quality system documents, procedures, work instructions and formats as per company standards.
Coordinate internal, external and customer audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Monitor and maintain Corrective Action / Preventive Action (CAPA) and follow up for effective implementation.
Conduct internal process, system and layered process audits (LPA) as per schedule.
Maintain the Document Control System and ensure only approved/revised documents are available at points of use.
Monitor quality objectives, KPIs and prepare periodic quality performance reports.
Coordinate Management Review Meetings and maintain required records and action plans.
Handle customer complaints, Quality & System & quality alerts and coordinate with concerned departments for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, Control Plan and SPC activities.
Ensure implementation and effectiveness verification of corrective actions.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Purchase and other departments for quality system improvements.
Conduct awareness/training programs related to QMS, procedures and quality requirements.
Maintain records related to calibration, training, audits, non-conformance and quality improvement activities.
Support PPAP/APQP documentation and customer-specific quality requirements.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through Kaizen, 5S, Problem-solving techniques.
Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, safety and environmental requirements related to the quality system.
Prepare quality reports, dashboards and presentations for management review.
Maintain proper traceability and retention of quality records as per defined procedures.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001.
Internal Auditor qualification preferred.
Knowledge of Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and Control Plan.
Good knowledge of RCA and problem-solving techniques.
Strong documentation and analytical skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and quality documentation systems.
Experience in the automotive/manufacturing industry preferred.
