Key Responsibilities
1. Production & Operations Management
- Plan and manage daily production activities
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule
- Monitor machine utilization and productivity
- Reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and TPM activities
2. Injection Molding
- Manage complete injection moulding production operations
- Handle production planning and machine scheduling
- Monitor machine efficiency, cycle time, rejection & productivity
- Supervise mould changing, machine setting & process optimization
- Ensure quality standards and reduction in defects/rejections
- Control manpower, shift operations & shop floor discipline
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, tool room & dispatch teams
- Handle raw material planning and wastage control
- Ensure safety compliance and ISO system implementation
- Develop SOPs and process documentation
- Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- Customer complaint analysis & corrective action implementation
3. Manpower Management
- Handle production teams, supervisors, and departmental coordination
- Manage workforce planning and shift management
- Monitor discipline, attendance, and employee performance
- Conduct training and skill development programs
4. Quality Management
- Ensure product quality as per customer specifications
- Coordinate with QA/QC departments for quality improvements
- Handle customer complaints and corrective actions
- Maintain ISO documentation and audit compliance
5. Maintenance & Utility Management
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
- Coordinate with maintenance team for machine reliability
- Monitor utility consumption and cost optimization
6. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure implementation of EHS policies and safety procedures
- Maintain compliance with Factory Act, Labour Laws, Pollution Control norms, and statutory requirements
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments
7. Cost Control & Productivity Improvement
- Monitor production costs and wastage control
- Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- Implement cost-saving initiatives
- Optimize inventory and raw material usage
8. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, QA, HR, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments
- Prepare MIS reports and production analysis
Present plant performance reports to management
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
