Role Overview
The Head – Contracts, Billing, Tendering & Estimation will lead the commercial and contractual functions of the organization, ensuring efficient management of pre- and post-contract activities. The role demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in estimation, billing, tendering, and contract administration. The incumbent will be responsible for driving commercial excellence, optimizing costs, mitigating risks, and ensuring contractual compliance across all projects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor teams handling estimation, billing, tendering, and contract management.

Oversee preparation, evaluation, and submission of tenders and commercial bids.

Review, negotiate, and finalize contracts with clients and subcontractors.

Establish and implement cost control systems, billing procedures, and revenue management strategies.

Approve client and subcontractor bills, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual terms.

Analyze and mitigate contract-related risks, claims, and variations.

Collaborate with project, finance, and management teams for effective decision-making.

Ensure adherence to legal, commercial, and corporate governance standards in all contractual dealings.
Qualifications & Skills

B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering; MBA in Project/Construction Management preferred.

15–20 years of experience in contracts, billing, estimation, and tendering within construction or EPC sectors.

Strong knowledge of contract law, cost control, and FIDIC conditions.

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
