Baby Care Nurse – Job Description

Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Baby Care Nurse to provide high-quality care for infants and young babies. The candidate should have hands-on experience in newborn care, feeding support, hygiene management, and monitoring baby health and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily nursing care for newborns and infants
- Monitor baby’s temperature, sleep patterns, feeding schedules, and overall health
- Assist with breastfeeding and formula feeding guidance
- Maintain baby hygiene including bathing, diaper changing, and sterilization of feeding equipment
- Administer medications and basic first aid as prescribed by doctors
- Observe and report any signs of illness or discomfort
- Support parents with baby care education and guidance
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the baby care area
- Keep accurate records of feeding, sleep, medications, and developmental milestones
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of newborn and infant care
- Experience in pediatric or neonatal nursing
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and attention to detail
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
Qualifications
- GNM / B.Sc Nursing / ANM certification
- Valid nursing registration preferred
- 3–4 years of experience in baby care, NICU, pediatric ward, or home baby care
Preferred
- Experience with premature babies or special newborn care
Salary
Best in industry based on experience and qualifications.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
