Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system reliability and performance through innovative approaches.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align support activities with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex software issues within mainframe environments.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting batch and online processes in critical business applications.
- Ability to work with legacy systems and understand their integration with modern technologies.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and incident management processes.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe.
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
