HMR International School is seeking a compassionate and qualified School Nurse to promote the health, safety, and well-being of students and staff. The ideal candidate will provide first aid, manage student health records, respond to medical emergencies, administer medications, and support the school's health and wellness initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and basic medical care to students and staff.
- Assess and manage minor illnesses and injuries.
- Administer medications as prescribed and authorized.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
- Monitor students with medical conditions and provide appropriate care.
- Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with parents and healthcare providers.
- Conduct health screenings and assist with immunization tracking.
- Promote health education, hygiene, and wellness programs.
- Maintain the school infirmary and medical supplies.
- Ensure compliance with school health and safety policies.
- ualifications
- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
Skills Required
- Strong clinical and first-aid skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Minimum 0-01 years of nursing experience; school or pediatric experience is an advantage.
