Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ETL Pentaho Developer to join our dynamic team. This role demands a professional with in-depth experience in Pentaho ETL processes, strong SQL skills, and the ability to manage data integration and transformation tasks effectively. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise with the latest Pentaho versions and a proven track record of working with complex ETL pipelines and database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop, and Maintain ETL Processes : Leverage Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) to design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows to process large datasets.
- SQL Development : Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading into different databases.
- Data Integration : Collaborate with data architects and data engineers to ensure seamless integration of data from various sources.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve ETL-related issues, ensuring efficient data transformation and loading.
- Optimization : Monitor, optimize, and fine-tune ETL jobs for performance improvements and efficient execution.
- Documentation : Maintain thorough documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and transformation logic.
- Stakeholder Communication : Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide data solutions.
- Skills & Qualifications :
- Experience : Minimum of 10 years of total work experience with at least 4-5 years of recent, hands-on experience in Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) .
- ETL Expertise : In-depth knowledge of ETL concepts, including the ability to design and implement complex ETL workflows using Pentaho .
- SQL Skills : Strong SQL knowledge, including proficiency in writing complex queries and understanding database concepts.
- Database Experience : Familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar.
- Latest Pentaho Experience : Experience should be from within the last 3 months ; older Pentaho experience is not considered.
- Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
