Position: Paint Production Engineer

Job Summary
The Paint Production Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing all painting and coating activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily paint shop operations.
- Ensure proper surface preparation and painting as per specifications.
- Monitor paint quality, DFT/WFT, and material consumption.
- Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Planning, and Dispatch teams.
- Ensure timely completion of production schedules.
- Maintain painting equipment and ensure proper handling of paint materials.
- Prepare daily production and paint consumption reports.
- Supervise painters and helpers to achieve productivity and quality targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping (5S) standards.
- Implement process improvements to reduce wastage and increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in Industrial Painting, Steel Fabrication, PEB, Heavy Engineering, or Manufacturing.
