The Global BCM & Footprint Management Specialist is responsible for execution of Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Manufacturing Footprint Management activities across the global manufacturing network, aligned with operational priorities and Manufacturing Footprint Strategy objectives. The role ensures continuity planning, risk awareness, recovery readiness, and footprint management initiatives are integrated into daily operations across sites and functions to maintain critical operations during disruptions and support network optimization and strategic manufacturing decisions.
The position supports maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), risk assessments, mitigation tracking, and footprint management activities, ensuring alignment with defined standards, governance processes, timelines, and footprint transformation initiatives. Collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and support functions ensures continuity requirements are practical, embedded in operational processes, and aligned with global manufacturing footprint strategy execution
The role also assists with gathering, consolidating, and communicating continuity-related information associated with Manufacturing Footprint Strategy initiatives, capacity planning efforts, and plant transfer activities, ensuring risks are appropriately documented and communicated while supporting site-level accountability and operational readiness across the global manufacturing network.
1. Support coordination of BCM activities across manufacturing sites, serving as a central point for information gathering and follow-up across Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and support functions.
2. Maintain BCP and BIA processes, ensuring critical operations, dependencies, and recovery requirements (RTO/MTPD) are defined, documented, and consistently applied.
3. Assist in documenting and tracking operational risks and mitigation actions across facilities, supply chain, equipment, workforce, plant transfers, and capacity changes.
4. Support manufacturing footprint initiatives and governance activities across regions.
5. Assist with footprint analyses, plant transfer tracking, capacity studies, and network optimization reporting activities.
6. Support incorporation of BCM requirements into manufacturing footprint and operational improvement initiatives by maintaining documentation and tracking actions.
7. Coordinate continuity inputs for Manufacturing Launch Readiness (MLR) and operational programs, ensuring risks, dependencies, and readiness gaps are documented and communicated.
8. Support continuity activities during disruptions by assisting with communication, documentation, and recovery action tracking.
9. Monitor BCM performance, compliance, training, and validation activities, ensuring adherence to governance requirements and timelines.
