Design Engineer – Electronics

About the Role
We are looking for a Design Engineer – Electronics to join our R&D team. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and validating electronic hardware and embedded systems for dialysis machines and related medical devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits.
- Develop electronic hardware for dialysis machines and medical devices.
- Create schematics using OrCAD and support PCB layout reviews using Cadence Allegro.
- Perform board bring-up, hardware debugging, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Develop embedded firmware and low-level device drivers for microcontroller-based systems.
- Interface sensors, actuators, displays, communication modules, and peripherals.
- Conduct hardware verification, functional testing, and reliability testing.
- Analyze circuit performance and resolve hardware issues during development and manufacturing.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Embedded Software, Manufacturing, Quality, Clinical, and Regulatory teams.
- Prepare schematics, BOMs, design specifications, validation reports, and engineering change documents.
- Support product certification and regulatory compliance activities.
- Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, risk analysis, and product improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, or related discipline.
- 3–8 years of experience in electronics hardware design and embedded product development.
- Medical device experience preferred.

- Mandatory: OrCAD Capture
- Mandatory: Cadence Allegro
- Multilayer PCB design and review
- Board bring-up and circuit validation
- Hardware debugging and troubleshooting
- Oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter, and other test equipment
- Hardware validation, design verification, and root-cause analysis
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing electronics for medical devices
- Familiarity with IEC 60601
- Knowledge of ISO 13485
- Understanding of ISO 14971
- Exposure to DFM, DFT, and DFA
- Experience supporting R&D-to-manufacturing product transfer

Pay: ₹40,408.18 - ₹55,801.45 per month
