Job Summary
Monk Outsourcing is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations, payroll compliance, invoicing, and financial reporting. The role requires hands-on experience in statutory compliances and profit analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including entries, vouchers, and reconciliations
- Maintain complete books of accounts and financial records
- Prepare and manage salary sheets, payroll accounting, and related reports
- Handle PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances and ensure timely filings
- Manage GST compliance including return filing and reconciliations
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and timely filing of returns
- Generate client invoices and ensure accuracy in billing
- Prepare and maintain profit & loss statements / profit sheets
- Track expenses, revenues, and profitability of projects
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and client ledgers
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, and consultants for audits and compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal company policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com or CA Inter preferred
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, PF, ESI, GST, and TDS
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar)
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel (salary sheets, profit sheets, reports)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time-management and coordination skills
