We are seeking an experienced Panel Wiring Technician to handle electrical control panel wiring, machine wiring, panel assembly, testing, and troubleshooting activities for industrial automation and SPM projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform control panel wiring and machine wiring as per electrical drawings and schematics.
- Assemble and wire electrical components such as PLCs, VFDs, contactors, relays, MCBs, SMPS, and terminal blocks.
- Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams and panel layout drawings.
- Carry out panel testing, continuity checks, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure proper cable routing, ferruling, dressing, and labeling of wires.
- Assist in machine installation, commissioning, and site support activities.
- Identify and rectify electrical faults in control panels and automation systems.
- Coordinate with PLC Programmers and Electrical Engineers during project execution.
- Follow safety standards and quality procedures during panel assembly and wiring.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical control panel wiring.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Experience in PLC panel wiring, VFD wiring, and machine wiring.
- Knowledge of electrical testing instruments such as multimeters and clamp meters.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Qualification
- ITI Electrician / Wireman
- Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or related field
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Industrial Automation, Control Panels, and SPM Machines.
- Knowledge of sensors, pneumatic systems, and industrial electrical components.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
