- Prepare detailed PHE design drawings, layouts, schematics, riser diagrams, and technical specifications using AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Carry out hydraulic design calculations for water supply, drainage networks, pump selection, storage tank sizing, pressure boosting systems, STP/WTP, and rainwater management systems.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable national and international codes and standards, including NBC, CPHEEO, IS Codes, local authority regulations, and project-specific requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and other MEP disciplines to achieve integrated and coordinated project designs.
- Review project requirements, prepare design reports, technical calculations, material specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Lead the preparation and review of tender documents, technical specifications, and design deliverables throughout all project stages.
- Review and approve contractor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and as-built drawings.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior PHE engineers and CAD/BIM teams.
- Attend client meetings, design review meetings, and site coordination meetings to resolve technical issues and ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Conduct periodic site inspections to verify compliance with design intent, address construction-related issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with statutory authorities and support approvals related to water supply, drainage, sewage, and environmental compliance wherever required.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards, project budgets, and design schedules.
