About the Role
AI5 Academy is looking for an experienced AI Product Manager, Product Manager, Senior Product Manager or Product Owner to teach our practical 8-week AI Product Management program through live online classes.
This is a freelance teaching opportunity for working professionals. You do not need to be a full-time trainer.
We are particularly interested in professionals who are currently building or managing AI, Generative AI, LLM or Agentic AI products and would like to teach alongside their regular work.
What You Will Teach
The program covers the complete AI product lifecycle:
- AI Product Management fundamentals
- Identifying and validating AI product opportunities
- User research and AI use-case selection
- Writing AI Product Requirements Documents (AI PRDs)
- AI UX and conversational product design
- Rapid AI product prototyping
- LLM product concepts
- RAG and knowledge-based AI products
- Agentic AI and AI workflows
- MCP concepts and tool-connected AI products
- AI APIs and model selection
- Build vs buy decisions
- ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini product use cases
- AI product evaluation and testing
- Hallucination, quality and reliability measurement
- Latency and AI product economics
- Analytics and business ROI
- MVP planning and prioritisation
- AI product roadmaps
- Responsible AI and governance
- AI product launch and monitoring
Practical Projects
You will mentor learners through portfolio projects such as:
- AI Opportunity Brief
- AI Product Requirements Document
- AI Product Prototype
- RAG Product
- Agentic AI Product
- Final AI Product Management Capstone
Skills We Are Looking For
Candidates should have practical experience in several of the following:
- Product Management
- AI / Generative AI products
- LLM-based applications
- RAG
- Agentic AI
- AI workflows
- AI APIs
- Prompt and context design
- AI product evaluation
- Product analytics
- AI prototyping
- MVP and roadmap planning
Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, NotebookLM, Figma, n8n, AI prototyping platforms, analytics tools and AI APIs is preferred.
Preferred Candidate
- Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / AI Product Manager / Product Owner
- Currently working in a product or AI-related role OR having strong recent industry experience
- Comfortable explaining technical AI concepts to non-engineers
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Able to conduct interactive live online sessions
- Comfortable reviewing PRDs, prototypes and student projects
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is preferred but not mandatory
Important
This is not a full-time employment position.

Industry practitioners who have never formally taught before are also welcome if they have strong practical AI Product Management experience.
