Job description:
- Should have experience in Coral Draw, Indesign, Canva and video editing & designing tools
- Will be engaged in designing K12 books.
- Should have experience in text book designing for print.
- Design the layout and align necessary resources such as text content, images, illustrations, charts, and graphs.
- Sketch rough drafts to visualize the arrangement of content and design elements.
- Choose appropriate fonts that are easy to read and match the educational context. Use different font sizes, styles, and colors to differentiate headings, subheadings, and body text.
- Incorporate relevant illustrations, photographs, and diagrams to support the educational content. Ensure that the visuals are clear, accurate, and align with the target age group.
- Develop a harmonious color scheme that reflects the subject matter and engages the intended audience.
- Consider using contrasting colors for text and background to enhance readability.
- Design icons and graphics to represent different topics or concepts within the curriculum. These visual aids can make the content more accessible and visually appealing.
- Pay attention to the balance of text and images on each page. Utilize grids and columns to create a structured and organized layout. Include headers, footers, and page numbers for consistency.
- Interactive Elements: Depending on the medium of delivery (print or digital), consider adding interactive elements such as QR codes, augmented reality, or clickable features to enhance the learning experience.
- Before finalizing the design, proofread the content thoroughly to ensure accuracy and consistency. Make revisions based on feedback from clients or curriculum experts.
- Should collaborate with content team and do the editing accordingly.
