Job Summary
The HR Generalist – PMS & HR Operations will be responsible for driving the organization's Performance Management System (PMS) while managing end-to-end HR operations. The role includes designing and implementing KPI & KRA frameworks, performance appraisals, HR policies, employee lifecycle management, recruitment coordination, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, employee engagement, and HR analytics. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manufacturing environments and possess excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerformance Management System (PMS)
- Lead the complete Performance Management System (PMS) process.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve KPI & KRA frameworks across departments.
- Coordinate annual, half-yearly, quarterly, and probation performance reviews.
- Develop department-wise and individual KPIs aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure all KPIs and KRAs are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound).
- Conduct calibration meetings with department heads.
- Monitor performance ratings and ensure consistency and fairness.
- Maintain appraisal records and performance documentation.
- Prepare Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) for underperforming employees.
- Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
KPI & KRA Management
- Develop KPI scorecards for all departments.
- Review departmental targets and monitor achievement.
- Analyze productivity, efficiency, absenteeism, and performance trends.
- Prepare monthly KPI dashboards for senior management.
- Recommend process improvements based on performance data.
HR Operations
- Handle complete employee lifecycle management.
- Manage onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfer, promotion, and exit processes.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Coordinate attendance, leave management, and payroll inputs.
- Ensure timely issuance of HR letters and employee documentation.
- Maintain HRMIS and employee databases.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Coordinate interviews with department heads.
- Manage offer rollouts and joining formalities.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring MIS.
Employee Relations
- Address employee grievances professionally.
- Conduct counseling and disciplinary meetings when required.
- Promote positive employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Organize employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
HR Policies & Compliance
- Draft and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Coordinate statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.).
- Support internal and external HR audits.
HR Analytics & MIS
- Prepare HR dashboards and monthly MIS reports.
- Analyze attrition, productivity, absenteeism, overtime, and manpower reports.
- Generate management reports with actionable insights.
- Present HR metrics to senior management.
Required Skills

Educational Qualification
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources (Preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
