We are looking for a Production Manager (Mechanical/ Wire Drawing/ Metel belt/Fabrication)
Experience: 8 to 10 Yrs
Salary: UP TO 50 K
Location: Sector 6, Faridabad
Responsibilities :
1. Wire Drawing Operations
- Process Oversight: Managing the continuous reduction of wire rod diameters through dies using single-block or multi-block continuous wire drawing machines.
- Die & Lubrication Management: Tracking die wear, die-to-die area reduction, and monitoring wet/dry lubrication systems to prevent wire breakage.
- Mechanical Adjustments: Overseeing wire pointing, spooling, and annealing lines for proper temper and tensile strength.
2. Metal Belt & Fabrication
- Welding & Assembly: Supervising specialized welding (TIG/MIG/automatic) and assembly of industrial metal conveyor belts (woven wire, flat wire, or grid belts).
- Forming & Pressing: Managing press brakes, roll forming, bending, and cutting operations according to project specifications.
- Quality Control: Enforcing strict dimensional checks, load testing, and joint integrity testing.
3. Production Planning & Management
- Scheduling & Resource Allocation: Utilizing Production Planning and Control (PPC) to align manpower, raw materials (wire rods, steel coils), and machine availability to meet delivery targets.
- Plant Maintenance: Implementing preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime on heavy machinery.
- Continuous Improvement: Applying Lean Manufacturing principles (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma) to eliminate waste and optimize throughput.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforcing OSHA or local factory safety protocols, including hazardous machinery guarding, dust extraction, and PPE enforcement.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
