Role Summary :
We are seeking an experienced SAP Object Migration Consultant with 5–8 years of expertise in SAP Data Migration, SAP S/4HANA Migration, and SAP Migration Cockpit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and validating end-to-end migration of master and transactional data while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and business continuity during SAP implementation and transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute end-to-end SAP data migration strategies for SAP implementation and transformation projects. Analyze legacy data structures and map them to SAP S/4HANA business objects. Configure and utilize SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM) for migration activities. Develop data mapping documents, transformation rules, and migration specifications. Perform data extraction, cleansing, validation, transformation, and loading of master and transactional data. Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to gather migration requirements and validate migrated data. Conduct data quality assessments and implement data cleansing strategies prior to migration. Execute mock migrations, trial loads, cutover migrations, and post-migration validation. Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues while ensuring successful data reconciliation. Prepare migration reports, reconciliation documents, and technical documentation. Support cutover planning and go-live activities. Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, governance standards, and data security policies. Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Data Migration projects. Expertise in SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM). Experience with SAP Data Services (BODS) or other ETL tools. Knowledge of SAP LSMW, BAPIs, IDocs, and legacy system migration. Experience migrating business objects, including: o Business Partners o Customers & Vendors o Material Master o Bills of Material (BOM) o Routing o Equipment & Functional Locations o Finance Master Data o Cost Centers o General Ledger Accounts o Open Items o Sales & Purchase Documents Strong understanding of SAP data models and business objects. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data analysis tools. Familiarity with SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration methodologies. Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology. Experience working in Agile and Waterfall project environments. Exposure to SAP functional modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, QM, or EWM. Knowledge of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). Basic understanding of ABAP debugging for migration issue analysis. Experience with migration automation tools and scripting is an added advantage. Soft Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
Educational Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Master's degree (MCA, M.Tech, or MBA) is an added advantage. SAP S/4HANA Data Migration or SAP Activate certification is preferred. Preferred Certifications SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit SAP S/4HANA Implementation Certification SAP Activate Certification SAP Data Services (BODS) Certification (Preferred)
Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
