Job Summary
The ELV Modeler is responsible for developing and maintaining BIM models for Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems in building and infrastructure projects. The role involves coordinating with design teams, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure accurate modeling and clash-free design using BIM tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed BIM models for ELV systems using modeling software.
- Prepare and update ELV layouts, schematics, and shop drawings.
- Model systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Data/Voice, Fire Alarm, Public Address, and Security Systems.
- Coordinate with MEP teams (Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing) to resolve clashes in BIM models.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, specifications, and BIM guidelines.
- Update models based on design revisions and site feedback.
- Generate BOQ, schedules, and quantity take-offs from BIM models.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings with project teams.
- Maintain documentation and version control of project models.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of BIM modeling for ELV systems.
- Experience with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks or similar BIM software.
- Understanding of ELV system design and installation standards.
- Ability to identify and resolve clashes in BIM coordination.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Engineering or related field.
- Certification in BIM / Revit is an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to MEP BIM coordination and shop drawing preparation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
