Job Summary
We are looking for a Purchase Executive with 3+ years of experience in the Interior Fit-Outs industry to manage procurement activities for commercial, residential, retail, and hospitality interior projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, issuing purchase orders, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring timely procurement of project materials while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure interior fit-out materials such as laminates, plywood, MDF, veneer, hardware, glass, aluminum, gypsum, ceiling materials, flooring, furniture, lighting, fabrics, and other project-related items.
- Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers and prepare comparative statements for management approval.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
- Issue purchase orders and monitor procurement activities from order placement to delivery.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, designers, and store teams to understand material requirements and project timelines.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites to avoid project delays.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, and delivery commitments.
- Track material consumption and coordinate with stores for inventory control.
- Resolve issues related to material shortages, quality concerns, and delayed deliveries.
- Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, contracts, and vendor databases.
- Monitor market trends and identify alternative suppliers and cost-effective materials.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and project budgets.
- Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and MIS reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in Interior Fit-Outs, Joinery, Furniture Manufacturing, or Interior Contracting companies.
- Strong knowledge of interior finishing materials, hardware, and fit-out procurement processes.
Required Skills
- Excellent vendor sourcing and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of interior fit-out materials and specifications.
- Ability to read BOQs, material schedules, and project requirements.
- Knowledge of procurement planning and cost control.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience handling procurement for commercial offices, retail outlets, hospitality,hospitals and residential fit-out projects.
- Familiarity with local and international suppliers.
- Knowledge of project costing, BOQ analysis, and subcontractor procurement.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
