As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst in the Pension Payroll team, you will be responsible for end to end testing and validation for pension payroll solutions during client implementations. You will gather and translate client requirements into test scenarios, test plan and validate system across different phases of the implementation lifecycle, and contribute to process improvements and best practices. Your role will involve collaborating with crossfunctional teams and providing technical guidance to ensure successful pension payroll system testing
Subject Matter Expert in QA processes, DB Domain, and pension system testing for pension payroll implementations
Explain to internal colleagues how the pension system interface solution should be tested and what quality standards must be met.
Help Business Analysts and Configurators review client requirements to identify testable scenarios and potential quality risks.
Influence configurators and business analysts to ensure solutions are thoroughly tested and meet quality benchmarks before deployment.
Responsible for ensuring that Pension system interface configurations are validated against provided specifications through comprehensive test cases and test execution.
Coordinate with the configuration and development teams to ensure timely delivery of builds for testing cycles.
Conduct end-to-end testing of payroll processes, from data validation to final payroll output.
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, and testing documentation for data import configurations.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and data validation testing for pension system interfaces.
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, ensuring quality gates are met.
Offer time to coach QA colleagues to increase their knowledge of testing methodologies and domain expertise.
Bring quality risks to surface and work on mitigation plans.
Talent building, mentoring, and coaching of junior QA team members.
4 years of experience in pension payroll, benefits administration, or related IT implementation roles
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
Knowledge of pension payroll domain, including payroll calculations, benefit accruals, deductions, and compliance requirements
Proficiency in SQL for data validation and reporting
Working knowledge of pension payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms)
Solid understanding of Testing practices and tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to document requirements and create clear technical specifications
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in pension and payroll (e.g., ERISA, IRS regulations)
