Job Overview:
Indo European Study Abroad is looking for an experienced and passionate Education Counsellor to guide and support students in achieving their international education goals. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in student counselling, excellent communication skills, and a sound understanding of study abroad processes, admissions, and international education pathways. The candidate will play a key role in counseling students, understanding their requirements, and assisting them in making informed decisions regarding overseas education opportunities.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Counsel students regarding study abroad opportunities, universities, courses, and career pathways.
- Understand student profiles and recommend suitable international education options.
- Guide students through admission procedures, application processes, and documentation requirements.
- Provide accurate information related to countries, universities, visa processes, and eligibility criteria.
- Assist students in shortlisting institutions based on academic background, preferences, and career objectives.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain a strong conversion pipeline.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
- Achieve counseling and admission targets while maintaining high service standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and student support.
- Stay updated with study abroad trends, university requirements, and international education policies.
- Maintain records, reports, and student databases accurately.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Education Counselling / Study Abroad / International Education.
- Strong understanding of international admissions and overseas education processes.
- Proven experience in student counselling and conversion management.
- Experience in handling student inquiries and relationship management.
