The Career Compass Program supports adolescents in exploring educational pathways, careers, life skills, and future aspirations through engaging workshops, mentorship, exposure opportunities, and school partnerships.
Role Overview
The Program Associate plays a key role in implementing the Career Compass Program across partner schools in Telangana. This is a highly people-centric, field-based role requiring regular interaction with students, teachers, school leaders, parents, and partner organisations.
The associate will facilitate career awareness sessions, support students in exploring future pathways, coordinate with schools, maintain program documentation, and contribute to improving program quality through data and field insights.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about youth development, education, and creating meaningful impact through strong relationships and quality program implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Program Implementation
- Conduct career awareness workshops and guidance sessions in schools.
- Facilitate student engagement activities related to careers, higher education, and life skills.
- Support implementation of program activities across partner schools.
Student Support
- Identify and support high-potential students requiring additional guidance.
- Track student progress, aspirations, and outcomes.
- Provide referrals and follow-up support where required.
Content, Data & Reporting
- Support development and refinement of career guidance content and resources.
- Maintain accurate program and student records.
- Document field insights and prepare regular reports.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build relationships with school leaders, teachers, students, and parents.
- Coordinate with partner organizations and educational institutions.
- Represent the program professionally during external engagements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Psychology, Management, Humanities, or a related field.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with adolescents and school stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel across Telangana.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital documentation tools.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in Hyderabad. Fluency in English, Telugu, and/or Hindi.
Preferred
- Certification or formal training in Career Guidance/Counseling.
- Experience in Career Guidance and Career Awareness initiatives.
- Familiarity with school-based programs.

Compensation - ₹45,000 – ₹50,000 per month, based on qualifications and relevant experience. The compensation is inclusive of local travel expenses and includes medical insurance coverage.
Travel outside Hyderabad for program-related work will be arranged or reimbursed by the organization as per policy.
