Job Title: Senior BI Developer – Tibco Spotfire
We are seeking a Senior BI Developer with strong experience in cloud‑based BI and analytics solutions. The role involves designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable, cloud‑native BI applications that deliver intelligent, interactive, and predictive data experiences using AI‑powered tools and platforms.
The candidate will work closely with Data and Analytics stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable, reliable, and cost‑efficient BI solutions on cloud platforms.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations for enterprise use cases.
- Assess existing BI implementations, identify gaps, and recommend architecture and performance improvements.
- Analyze application and data portfolios to define migration, transformation, and automation strategies.
- Develop implementation roadmaps for BI modernization initiatives.
- Optimize SQL queries and BI dashboards to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and architecture diagrams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of overall experience in Information Technology.
- 6+ years of hands‑on experience in Business Intelligence (BI) development.
- 4+ years of strong hands‑on experience with TIBCO Spotfire, including:
- Dashboard and visualization development
- Installation, configuration, and upgrades
- Performance tuning and optimization
- Strong experience designing complex, interactive dashboards and reports.
- Proven understanding of data warehousing concepts and analytics architectures.
- Hands‑on experience working with large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including:
- BigQuery, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataproc, Dataprep
- Cloud Functions, GKE, Composer (Apache Airflow), Apache Beam, KMS
- 2+ years of practical Java development experience, including unit testing, debugging, and code correction using Spring Boot.
- Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or equivalent.
Nice to Have
- Google Cloud certifications (Associate or Professional level).
- Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience building or customizing AI‑driven or predictive BI dashboards.
- Familiarity with Looker, Tableau, and Cloud Data Studio.
