Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Laser Cutting Machine Programmer to prepare, optimize, and manage CNC laser cutting programs for sheet metal components. The candidate should have knowledge of CAD drawings, nesting software, material utilization, and machine operations to ensure accurate and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare CNC programs for laser cutting machines based on production drawings.
- Perform nesting to optimize material utilization and reduce scrap.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, DXF files, and technical specifications.
- Select proper cutting parameters according to material type and thickness.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and planning departments for smooth workflow.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot programming-related issues.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
- Maintain program records and update machine data regularly.
- Support continuous improvement activities for productivity and cost reduction.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- Experience in CNC laser cutting machine programming.
- Knowledge of nesting software such as SigmaNEST, RADAN, Pronest, or similar.
- Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and technical documents.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Basic understanding of GD&T and measurement instruments.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle production pressure.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
