Job Summary
The Store Incharge will be responsible for managing all store and inventory activities related to electronic and electrical components used in metal detector manufacturing and servicing. The role includes receiving, inspection, storage, stock maintenance, material issuing, and coordination with the Purchase and Service Departments to ensure uninterrupted material availability for engineers and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all store operations including receiving, inspection, storage, and issuing of materials.
- Maintain inventory of electronic, electrical, and hardware components used in metal detector systems.
- Prepare and raise GRN (Goods Receipt Note) in ERP system as per Purchase Order and supplier invoice.
- Verify received materials for quantity, quality, specifications, and descriptions.
- Authorize and maintain delivery challans and inward records.
- Maintain optimum stock levels to support production, service, and installation activities.
- Coordinate with Purchase Department for shortage materials, pending deliveries, and urgent requirements.
- Issue materials to Service Engineers, Production Team, and Installation Team as per requirement.
- Prepare Delivery Challans in Tally for material dispatch and engineer requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of supplier invoices and challans to Accounts Department.
- Maintain proper store documentation including:
- GRN Register/File
- Stock Statement
- Delivery Challan File
- Material Issue Records
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and support audit activities.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and safe handling of sensitive electronic components.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper arrangement of store materials.
- Follow company procedures for inventory control and material handling.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of store and inventory management.
- Basic knowledge of ERP software and Tally.
- Good knowledge of electronic and electrical components such as capacitors, transistors, relays, resistors, ICs, SMPS, sensors, cables, connectors, PCB-related items, and other related materials.
- Ability to identify and manage components used in metal detector systems and related equipment.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word, Email).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle stock accurately and efficiently.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree / BE / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related field preferred.
- Additional experience in Store or Warehouse Management will be preferred.
Experience
1 to 5 years of relevant experience in store handling, inventory management, or electronic component handling.
