Job Summary
Shikhar Academy of Learning is seeking a poised, professional, and friendly Receptionist to be the "face" of our academy. As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive environment for our students, parents, and faculty. The ideal candidate is an expert multitasker with excellent communication skills and a passion for education.
Key Responsibilities
- Visitor Management: Greet students, parents, and visitors warmly as they arrive; manage the check-in/check-out process.
- Communication: Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and WhatsApp inquiries regarding admissions, schedules, and fees.
- Administrative Support: Maintain student records, update attendance logs, and assist with basic data entry.
- Inquiry Conversion: Provide basic information about our courses to prospective parents and schedule appointments with academic counselors.
- Office Upkeep: Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and professional at all times.
- Coordination: Assist faculty with printing materials and coordinate with management for smooth daily operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in a front desk, customer service, or administrative role (experience in an educational setting is a plus).
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and comfortable learning new management software.
- Languages: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Personality: Patient, approachable, and able to handle busy periods with a calm demeanor.
