We are seeking a detail-oriented Coordinator with a structural design course certificate to support our site team. This role bridges technical structural design knowledge with project coordination, ensuring structural designs are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Support:
- Assist project managers in coordinating structural design activities from concept to construction completion
- Track design deliverables, timelines, and milestones across multiple real estate projects
- Coordinate between internal teams, external structural consultants, architects, and contractors
- Maintain organized records of drawings, calculations, specifications, and design revisions
Technical Oversight:
- Review structural design drawings and documents for completeness and compliance with IS codes and local building regulations
- Support preparation of tender documents, scope of work, and drawings for contractor bidding
- Monitor changes to contracts and drawings including RFIs, CCNs, and SIs
- Assist in reviewing PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) inputs, reactions, AB plans, DBR, and BOQs from consultants
Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare and circulate meeting minutes from design review and project coordination meetings
- Generate progress reports, billing summaries, and variance reports on cost and schedule
- Ensure proper storage and version control of all structural drawings and design files
- Coordinate submission of design documents for plan approvals and statutory clearances
Site & Quality Support:
- Assist with site visits to verify structural execution aligns with design intent
- Support quality control checks for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and structural steel
- Coordinate with surveyors, designers, and cost consultants as needed
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Completed a recognized structural design course/certification (mandatory)
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus
Experience
- 1 year(s) or freshers can apply as a project coordinator, design coordinator, or similar role in construction/real estate
- Freshers with strong structural design course training may be considered for junior coordinator roles
- Residential and commercial real estate project experience preferred
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAFE, or similar structural design software
- Familiarity with MS Project, Primavera, or other project management tools
- Strong understanding of IS codes (IS 456, IS 800, IS 875) and local building bylaws
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and calculations
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset
