JOB PURPOSE
The job purpose of a storekeeper at Barwizard beverage catering is to maintain & manage stock inventory.
This involves overseeing deliveries, inspecting incoming goods for quality and accuracy, conducting regular stock takes, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe storeroom.

KEY RESPOSIBILITIES
Inventory Management:
1 Maintaining Par Stock
2 Ordering and Supplier Coordination:
o Initiate Purchase Order (PO) as per requisition when stock levels approach minimum thresholds to prevent stockouts.
o Coordinate with suppliers and sales representatives for timely deliveries and to stay informed about product availability and pricing.
3 Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming deliveries against PO and invoices to ensure correctness in quality, quantity, and price. Refuse damaged or incorrect items.
4 Store stocks methodically at respective places after updating inventory records, ensuring stock levels are optimal, and maintaining accurate records to prevent loss, waste or dead stocks.
5 Issue stocks against authorized requisitions on FIFO (First In, First Out) basis, to the concerned department. Implementing FIFO is non-negotiable for timely stock rotation to prevent spoilage, manage product expiration dates, and minimize waste.
6 Maintain party wise consumption and monthly records.
o Prepare the gate pass according to requisition no & Event Sheet as all stocks issued do not get consumed
o Log in all returnable items in your gate pass and calculate amount of inventory consumed
o Record all shortages and missing items.
o Re-stack all returned items to inventory
7 Reporting and Administration
o Maintaining and reconcileall Pos & Invoices
o Maintain detailed and accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, returns, and disposals along with Invoices and reports for Management Review & Financial Transparency.
8 Conduct regular physical inventory counts (daily/weekly/monthly) and reconcile them with system records to ensure accuracy, report and investigate discrepancies.
9 Compliance, Documentation and Safety:
o Ensure strict adherence to all local, and state FSSAI laws and regulations governing the storage and handling
o Implement and enforce health and safety protocols (Fire Safety & Rats / Insect prevention) within the storage areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
o Maintain the security of the storeroom and inventory, controlling access to authorized personnel only.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required; a diploma in commerce, accounting, or hospitality is a plus.
- Mandatory knowledge of MS Excel for record keeping
- Experience: Proven experience as a store keeper, inventory controller, or similar role, preferably within the food & beverage or hospitality industry.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer applications (Excel spreadsheets).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various departments and suppliers.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting and moving stock.
Pay: ₹216,000.00 - ₹264,000.00 per year
