Job description:
Roles & Responsibilities – Sr. Production Engineer / Production Executive
Plan, monitor, and execute daily production activities to achieve production targets.
Ensure adherence to production schedules and support monthly production planning and closing activities.
Monitor shop floor operations to ensure smooth production flow and timely completion of jobs.
Ensure production is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, process plans, and quality standards.
Minimize rework and rejection by implementing proper manufacturing practices and quality controls.
Monitor and optimize the utilization of manpower, machines, tools, and other production resources.
Support productivity improvement initiatives and reduce machine downtime.
Ensure correct manufacturing processes and sequences are followed throughout production.
Participate in process improvements, process capability studies (Cp/Cpk), and manufacturing optimization projects.
Assist in the development and improvement of jigs, fixtures, tools, and production aids.
Coordinate with Stores to ensure timely availability of raw materials, consumables, and production requirements.
Follow up with subcontractors to ensure timely receipt of outsourced components and services.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Purchase, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted production.
Resolve day-to-day shop floor issues and escalate critical concerns to management when required.
Maintain accurate production records, ERP/MIS updates, and production reports.
Ensure compliance with IMS documentation, SOPs, and company procedures.
Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping (5S), and workplace discipline on the shop floor.
Identify training needs, participate in skill development programs, and support team training initiatives.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and cycle time reduction.
Perform additional production-related responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.

Pay: ₹20,140.92 - ₹55,051.58 per month
