Key Roles & Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Recruitment and on-boarding: Oversee the entire hiring process, from sourcing and interviewing to background checks and new hire orientation.
- Employee relations: Interaction with the Union. Manage employee grievances, resolve conflicts, and build positive relationships to ensure a productive workplace climate.
- Compliance and legal matters: Ensure the plant complies with all local and state labour laws, wage regulations, and safety standards.
- Training and development: Identifying the Training need, creating Training Calendar, develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Compensation and benefits: Compensation structures, benefits programs, and payroll for plant staff.
- Performance management: Conduct performance appraisal processes and provide guidance to management on performance-related issues.
- Health and safety: Coordinate health, safety, and wellness programs to ensure a secure working environment.
- HR administration: Maintain accurate employee records and documentation including preparation of MIS.
- Strategic support: Advise plant leadership on workforce planning and organizational development, helping to align HR initiatives with operational goals.

* Must be able to speak, read & write in Kannada.
Education: Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in Heavy Engineering Industry.
