Role description
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Java-based automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Appium and Selenium along with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, test planning, and quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium and Appium
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications
- Candidate should have a exposure around API Automation.
- Create and maintain test plans, test strategies, and test cases
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables
- Identify, log, and track defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution
- Ensure end-to-end test coverage for critical business workflows
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for automation execution
- SDET APPROACH - Candidate should be flexible to do functional testing too.
Program Description: to automate the massive volume of test cases execution, that are generated by PepsiCo Testing team.
Testing to be done in SAP and other apps based on the underlying source system and data..
Expected Solution is built by integrating Selenuim and 3 more automation tools (relevant for SAP also) and fast-track the test cases outcome / execution.
Functional testing+Semi automation profile with hands on automation on Appium, API and Mobile testing experience with 8 to 10 years experience in reasonbale cost
