About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and business-focused Vice President – Investor
Relations to lead the firm's fundraising and investor engagement efforts. The role will be
responsible for driving AUM growth, strengthening relationships with key investors and
distribution partners, enhancing the firm's market presence, and delivering an
exceptional investor experience. The ideal candidate will combine strong capital-raising
capabilities with strategic thinking, leadership, and deep understanding of financial
markets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the firm's investor relations and fundraising strategy to
achieve AUM growth objectives.
- Originate, cultivate, and manage relationships with HNIs, UHNIs, family offices,
wealth managers, distributors, and institutional investors.
- Drive capital raising initiatives and build a robust pipeline of prospective
investors and strategic partners.
- Lead investor meetings, presentations, roadshows, conferences, and networking
initiatives to represent the firm and enhance brand visibility.
- Serve as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for existing and
prospective investors.
- Collaborate with Investment teams to effectively communicate investment
philosophy, portfolio performance, and market insights.
- Oversee the preparation of investor presentations, factsheets, newsletters, and
other communication materials.
- Ensure a seamless investor onboarding and servicing experience in partnership
with Operations and Compliance teams.
- Monitor fundraising pipelines, investor activity, and conversion metrics, providing
actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Ensure all investor interactions and communications adhere to applicable SEBI
regulations and internal governance standards.
- Identify new distribution channels, strategic alliances, and business
opportunities to expand the firm's investor base.
- Lead, inspire, and develop the Investor Relations team by fostering a highperformance culture, driving accountability, mentoring future leaders, and
aligning team objectives with the firm's growth strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Commerce, Economics, or Business
Administration.
- MBA, CFA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience in Investor Relations, Fund Raising, Wealth
Management, Private Banking, PMS, Asset Management, or Financial Services.
- Demonstrated track record of fundraising and relationship management with
sophisticated investors.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and portfolio
concepts.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder
management skills.
