Job Title: Plant Head / Factory Manager
Location: Chakan, Pune
Department: Operations / Manufacturing
Reports To: Director of Operations / COO / MD
Salary Budget - 15 to 25 LPA
Mandatory: (Press Shop industry experience is mandatory. Please apply only if you have relevant experience working in the Press Shop industry.)
Job Summary:
The Plant Head is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the plant from production
and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the overall plant operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, safety, and logistics.
2. Implement and maintain manufacturing strategies and action plans to achieve the plant’s objectives.
3. Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency.
4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
5. Develop and manage plant budgets, forecasts, and cost reduction initiatives.
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance
product quality.
7. Lead, coach, and develop plant staff to build a strong and efficient workforce.
8. Liaise with corporate departments (supply chain, R&D, HR, etc.) to ensure alignment with
company goals.
9. Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, production KPIs, and
improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Production / Industrial Management or related field (Master’s preferred).
2. 12+ years of experience in manufacturing/plant operations, with at least 3-5 years in a
leadership role.
3. Proven experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or other efficiency frameworks.
4. Strong understanding of operational systems, quality standards (ISO, GMP, etc.), and regulatory
compliance.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,900,000.00 per year
