Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and supervise fabrication activities to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Optimize workflows to improve productivity and minimize delays.
- Ensure adherence to fabrication drawings, tolerances, and welding specifications.
- Implement quality control measures as per industry and company standards.
- Conduct inspections and coordinate with the QA/QC team for defect-free output.
- Oversee welding procedures (MIG, TIG, Arc welding, etc.) and ensure compliance with WPS (Welding Procedure Specification).
- Guide welders, fitters, and fabricators to maintain high-quality workmanship.
- Ensure proper material selection and adherence to ASME, AWS, or equivalent standards.
- Work closely with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for senior management.
- Minimize wastage and optimize material utilization.
