HR Generalist – HR & Administration
We are looking for a hands-on HR Generalist to build and manage our HR systems, processes, and day-to-day administration for a growing Crane Services & Heavy Equipment company.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in an operational environment and managing a workforce that includes crane operators, drivers, mechanics, technicians, helpers, and field/site staff.
What You’ll Do:
1. HR & People Management
2. Design and implement HR systems, policies, and processes from scratch.
3. Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, documentation, attendance, leave, and employee records.
4. Handle recruitment and manpower planning for drivers, crane operators, mechanics, technicians, and field staff.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files and HR records.
6. Monitor attendance, shifts, overtime, leave, and workforce deployment.
7. Coordinate monthly payroll, salary inputs, overtime, deductions, and statutory requirements with the relevant teams.
8. Address employee queries, grievances, discipline, and day-to-day people-related matters.
9. Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
10. Ensure HR policies and company procedures are effectively communicated and followed.
Administration:
1. Oversee day-to-day office administration and ensure smooth office operations.
2. Maintain administrative records, documentation, and company files.
3. Coordinate with management, employees, site teams, vendors, and external service providers.
4. Support employee accommodation, transportation, uniforms, ID cards, and other workforce-related requirements where applicable.
5. Manage administrative requirements related to field and site operations.
6. Ensure timely renewal and maintenance of relevant employee and operational documentation.
7. Workforce & Field Operations
8. Coordinate manpower requirements across different crane and field-service projects.
9. Work closely with operations to ensure the right manpower is available at the right time.
10. Manage attendance and workforce discipline for employees working across sites and operational locations.
Be comfortable working with a ground-level, field-based workforce and handling practical HR challenges.
What We’re Looking For:
2–5 years of experience in HR Generalist / HR & Administration roles.
Experience in construction, crane services, logistics, heavy equipment, transportation, engineering, or field-service companies is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience managing drivers, operators, mechanics, technicians, and other field/ground-level employees.
You are a practical, hands-on HR professional who can work closely with both management and operational teams. You should be comfortable spending time with field staff, solving day-to-day workforce issues, maintaining discipline, and putting structured HR processes in place as the company grows.
