Job Description
We are looking for a CCTV Technician to handle installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV surveillance systems at customer locations.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, monitors, and related equipment.
- Perform CCTV cabling, camera mounting, termination, and testing.
- Configure IP cameras, NVRs, PoE switches, and remote viewing.
- Troubleshoot camera, DVR/NVR, power supply, cabling, and network issues.
- Perform regular CCTV maintenance and service work.
- Replace faulty cameras, cables, connectors, power supplies, and other components.
- Configure CCTV systems for mobile and remote access.
- Visit customer locations for installation and service requirements.
- Maintain proper records of installations and service work.
- Explain basic CCTV operation to customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in CCTV installation and servicing is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR, and IP cameras.
- Basic networking knowledge is an advantage.
- Should know basic electrical and cable termination work.
- Ability to troubleshoot CCTV-related problems.
- Must be willing to travel to customer locations within Hyderabad.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Valid driving licence is preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience with Hikvision, CP Plus, or similar CCTV systems will be an advantage.
