SQL Server / Application Support Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SQL Server / Application Support Developer to support, maintain, and troubleshoot business-critical applications in a Windows-based environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL Server expertise, application support experience, and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring high application availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, functions, and database objects.
- Provide application support for ASP.NET and VB.NET-based applications.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance Crystal Reports.
- Diagnose and resolve application, database, and system-related issues.
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless application functionality and user support.
- Support production environments, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in incident management and issue resolution activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in SQL Server and Application Support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and database optimization.
- Working knowledge of ASP.NET and VB.NET applications.
- Experience with Crystal Reports development and maintenance.
- Experience supporting Windows-based applications and environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
