- Machine Setup & Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate manual or CNC lathe machines to perform turning, boring, threading, facing, and chamfering operations on stainless steel pipes.
- Precision Machining: Work with 4-jaw chucks and steady rests to accurately hold and machine long stainless steel pipes and couplings.
- Material Handling: Handle and process various grades of stainless steel material, ensuring surface protection against carbon steel contamination.
- Technical Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications for pipe dimensions and tolerances.
- Tooling Management: Select, mount, and adjust proper cutting tools, inserts, and drill bits for stainless steel machining.
