Job Title: Floor Supervisor
Job Summary
The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily floor operations, ensuring excellent customer service, supervising staff performance, and maintaining operational standards. The role involves coordinating team activities, resolving customer issues, and ensuring smooth workflow during shifts.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Supervise daily floor activities and ensure smooth operations
- Monitor service quality and customer experience
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are maintained
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for efficient operations
Team Supervision
- Allocate duties and manage staff during shifts
- Train and guide team members on service standards and procedures
- Monitor employee attendance, grooming, and discipline
- Motivate staff to achieve performance targets
Customer Service
- Welcome and assist customers when required
- Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly
- Ensure high customer satisfaction at all times
Inventory & Compliance
- Monitor stock usage and report shortages
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and company policies
- Assist in maintaining records and reports
Reporting
- Report operational issues to management
- Prepare shift reports and communicate updates to the next shift/team
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team management and multitasking skills
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and reporting
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality certification preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in hospitality, retail, or restaurant operations
- Prior supervisory experience is an advantage
