Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cooling Tower Design Engineer with strong knowledge of thermal selection, heat load calculations, HVAC applications, and cooling tower design. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Cross-Flow and Counter-Flow Cooling Towers and be familiar with relevant CTI, ASHRAE, and ISHRAE standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thermal selection of cooling towers as per CTI-201 standards for HVAC applications.
- Carry out heat load and thermal calculations as per CTI-201, ASHRAE, and ISHRAE norms.
- Design, develop, and analyze Cross-Flow and Counter-Flow Cooling Tower systems.
- Prepare and manage BOM and BOQ for cooling tower projects.
- Develop and modify General Arrangement (GA) drawings and layouts.
- Make required alterations and modifications in cooling tower layouts.
- Prepare technical documentation, design calculations, specifications, and engineering reports.
- Develop and review drawings using AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with production, project, sales, and other engineering teams for design requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable HVAC and cooling tower standards.
- Provide technical support for cooling tower applications and project execution.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Cooling Tower Thermal Design & Selection.
- Knowledge of CTI-201 Thermal Performance Standards.
- Good understanding of ASHRAE and ISHRAE standards.
- Experience in HVAC applications and heat load calculations.
- Hands-on knowledge of Cross-Flow & Counter-Flow Cooling Towers.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and GA/layout drawings.
- Good understanding of BOM/BOQ preparation.
- Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
- Good technical documentation and communication skills.
