Job Description: Quality Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to join our Quality Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out quality inspections of pump components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role is suitable for Diploma/ B.Tech Mechanical Engineers or ITI candidates with 0–1 year of experience and a strong understanding of inspection tools and quality processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of pump components and assemblies.
- Conduct dimensional inspections using measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Height Gauges, and Dial Indicators.
- Verify product quality against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify, document, and report non-conformities to the Quality Supervisor/Manager.
- Maintain inspection reports and quality records accurately.
- Ensure calibration status of measuring instruments before use.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Engineering teams to resolve quality-related concerns.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality systems, and safety guidelines.
- Assist during internal and external quality audits as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of inspection equipment.
Qualifications
Preferred
- Basic knowledge of pump manufacturing or engineering components.
- Familiarity with quality inspection practices and measuring instruments.
- Experience
- 0–1 year of experience in Quality Inspection or Manufacturing.
- Freshers with strong practical knowledge may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques.
- Good observation and analytical skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office and email).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
