Role Summary:
The Principal is the chief academic and administrative head of the college, responsible for academic excellence, institutional governance, and compliance with university and regulatory bodies.
Required Candidate Profile:
Qualification : M.Tech (Textiles) / MFM – NIFT / MBA / Ph.D.
Experience : 12–15 years in Universities, Colleges, or Design Institutions
Candidates currently serving as Principal, Vice Principal, or Dean in a reputed institution ( UG /PG only) for a minimum of 5 years will be preferred.
Mandatory proficiency in Kannada
Experience handling UG & PG Design Programs will be an added advantage

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall administration and day-to-day operations of the college in a professional and efficient manner.
- Ensure statutory compliance with Bangalore North University, University of Mysore, University Grants Commission (UGC), AICTE, and all applicable Government regulations.
- Oversee faculty recruitment, workload allocation, approvals, and performance evaluation.
- Manage institutional budgets, resources, and infrastructure effectively.
- Supervise and lead both teaching and non-teaching staff across the campus.
- Obtain necessary approvals from the top management for academic initiatives, administrative matters, and institutional programs.
- Monitor and coordinate the functioning of all academic and administrative departments.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding fees for Diploma, Undergraduate (UG), and Postgraduate (PG) programs.
- Drive performance management and operational excellence among all staff members.
- Ensure secure custody and maintenance of students’ original academic records and mark sheets.
