About the Role
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our growing food brand. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media content and be able to turn raw food footage into highly engaging, visually appealing, and scroll-stopping videos.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, product videos, and digital advertisements.
- Create engaging food videos with strong storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound design, and music.
- Edit raw footage from food shoots into high-quality social media content.
- Add captions, motion graphics, text animations, sound effects, and other creative elements.
- Understand current Instagram and YouTube trends and implement them in video content.
- Create multiple variations of videos for different campaigns and platforms.
- Work closely with the content writer, graphic designer, social media team, and project manager.
- Ensure videos are delivered according to the content calendar and deadlines.
- Maintain consistency with the brand’s visual identity.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects / DaVinci Resolve / CapCut or similar tools.
- Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, transitions, music selection, and sound design.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media trends.
- Good sense of visual composition and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- A strong portfolio/showreel is required.
Added Advantage
- Experience editing food, restaurant, FMCG, or lifestyle content.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation.
- Experience editing performance marketing/advertising videos.
- Understanding of viral content formats and hooks.
