1. Job Summary
The International Sales & Operations Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end international tour package sales and operational execution. This role involves itinerary planning, client handling, supplier coordination, booking management, and ensuring seamless travel experiences for clients from inquiry to post-travel support.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, operational efficiency, sales orientation, and the ability to manage multiple travel arrangements while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
2. Key Roles and Responsibilities
A. International Sales Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound inquiries related to international tour packages.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable travel packages.
- Prepare customized travel itineraries, quotations, and proposals.
- Convert leads into confirmed bookings by effective communication and follow-ups.
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain customer database and update CRM systems regularly.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients for repeat business and referrals.
B. Tour Operations Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute international travel itineraries for individual and group tours.
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, visa agencies, transport providers, and local partners.
- Manage all travel bookings including flights, hotels, transfers, insurance, and sightseeing.
- Issue vouchers, travel documents, tickets, and confirmations.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation for visa, passport, and travel requirements.
- Monitor tour execution and ensure smooth travel experience for clients.
C. Supplier Management
- Identify and coordinate with international suppliers and travel partners.
- Negotiate competitive rates and service agreements with vendors.
- Maintain strong relationships with hotels, airlines, and destination management companies.
- Ensure quality service delivery from all suppliers.
D. Customer Service & Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after travel.
- Provide accurate information regarding destinations, visa requirements, and travel guidelines.
- Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and operational issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
E. Financial & Documentation Management
- Prepare quotations, invoices, and payment records.
- Track payments, collections, and refunds.
- Maintain accurate operational and financial records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
F. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with internal sales, marketing, and operations teams.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operations reports.
- Provide feedback on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
3. Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism, Travel, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Diploma or Certification in Travel & Tourism is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in international tour sales and operations preferred.
- Freshers with relevant travel education and strong interest may also apply.
