Job Summary:
The Solar Sales Executive is responsible for generating leads, promoting solar energy solutions, conducting site visits, explaining technical and financial benefits, and closing sales for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects. The role requires strong field sales capability and understanding of solar systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new leads for residential, commercial, and industrial solar installations.
- Conduct field visits and site inspections.
- Explain solar system capacity, ROI, subsidy benefits, and savings calculations to clients.
- Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals and quotations.
- Follow up regularly with prospective clients to close sales.
- Coordinate with technical team for site survey and installation.
- Assist customers with net metering and subsidy documentation process.
- Maintain lead database and update CRM daily.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication and convincing skills
- Basic understanding of solar PV systems
- Knowledge of government subsidy schemes and net metering process
- Ability to calculate ROI and payback period
- Negotiation and closing skills
- Field sales readiness
Qualification:
- Any Graduate / Diploma / Engineering (Electrical preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in solar or electrical sales preferred
- Freshers with passion for renewable energy can apply
Additional Requirements:
- Two-wheeler with valid driving license
- Willingness to travel for site visits
