Role: Senior Social Worker Location: Ludhiana, Punjab.

Reporting Person: Project Director Professional Fees: Rs 30,000/- to Rs 35,000 per month (excluding travel and communication expenses).
Probation Period: 3 months Min.
Qualification: Masters of Social Work + Graduate in law, minimum experience of 3 years.
Note: Preference will be given to those who have experience of working with Govt. officials, children and community Geographical area: District Ludhiana Tasks that need to be done to achieve the outcomes of project and impact envisioned: You will be anchoring the Help Desk near Juvenile Justice Board, Ludhiana. Provide support, information and guidance to the children in conflict with law, parents/guardians and other stakeholders seeking information on the working of the juvenile justice system. Socio-legal guidance/need based referral services for children, parents and other stake holders (Police, Lawyers, Judicial officers, Duty Bearers). Provide need-based support to children for their rehabilitation (Education/Vocation/De-addiction/After Care/Any other) Visit the home for Social Investigation Report/follow-up/supervision- realistic individual care plan for rehabilitation of the child Conduct theme-based group and individual sessions (Case work and Group Work) in Observation Home and Communities – empower children and families to participate actively in rehabilitation.
Facilitation in skill building training for Children in conflict with law and providing seed money to initiate their start-up. Supporting and activating Management committee in the interest of staff and children. Conduct workshops, training, and sensitization events Network with multiple stakeholders and Service Delivery Systems Strengthening Children committees and to include Child Participation so informed decisions can be taken in the welfare of children. Write reports and maintain records to the requirements of the organization. Assist in preparing project proposals, annual reports, quarterly reports, and research papers on various topics as per the organizational need Taking new initiatives and engaging the team in implementation Any other responsibilities assigned by the organization.
