About the role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Anesthesiologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering anesthesia, monitoring patients during surgical and non-surgical procedures, and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout. You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate patients before surgery and develop appropriate anesthesia plans
- Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia as required
- Monitor patient vitals and adjust anesthesia levels during procedures
- Manage post-operative pain and recovery in the PACU
- Handle emergencies and critical care when needed
- Maintain detailed records and documentation for each patient
- Collaborate with the surgical and nursing teams for seamless care
Requirements
- MBBS + MD in Anesthesiology (or equivalent qualification)
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI/NMC)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in anesthesiology
- Proficiency in handling various anesthesia techniques and equipment
- Strong communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties as required
