Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Figma Design Intern to join our design team. You’ll work closely with senior designers and product teams to create user-friendly, visually engaging digital experiences and learn the end-to-end product design process.
Responsibilities
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs in Figma.
- Assist with website, mobile app, and product interface designs.
- Maintain and update design components and design systems in Figma.
- Create prototypes to communicate and test design ideas.
- Conduct basic competitor and user research.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers.
- Incorporate feedback and iterate on designs.
- Ensure designs follow usability, accessibility, and visual-design best practices.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/course in Design, UX/UI, HCI, or a related field.
- Good understanding of Figma and basic UI/UX principles.
- Familiarity with typography, color, spacing, grids, and responsive design.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- A portfolio containing relevant design projects is preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Figma Auto Layout, Components, Variables, and Prototyping.
- Basic understanding of design systems.
- Familiarity with user research and usability testing.
- Knowledge of tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or FigJam.
